The most popular areas to wine taste and enjoy the beauty that Michigan vineyards have to offer are in the Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas located in northern Michigan near Traverse City. This area has become a go-to place for wine lovers in the midwest. Many travelers choose a single peninsula route each day because there is just too much to see and taste in just one day.
